23 June - Alder boys in Liverpool Schools representative side, see "News".

21/2 Jun - The Firsts just failed to stage a full recovery as the 9th Whitefield pair held on to secure a victory. The Seconds beat their Whitefield counterparts Andy 6 wckts. The Thirds lost to P&O while the 4ths had victory over Wavertree 4s.
The Sunday League side had a comfortable victory over Rainford while the Friendly side lost heavily at Rylands.

CONGRATULATIONS MIKE DUNN

At the LCB OSCAS Awards dinner on Friday evening 12th June, held in the Marquee at Old Trafford and attended by over 700 people, Mike Dunn of Alder CC won the " Behind the Scenes " award. He will now go forward as a nominee for the national awards to be held later this year.

Well Done Mike. Well deserved and best of luck at the national awards. See News for picture of Mike receiving his award from Jack Simmons.

6 / 7 June

The Firsts returned to winning ways as Kenny Highdale's 113no Neil's 45 and Bobby Simmons 5/27 saw off Birkenhead St Marys and the weather to return to the top 3. The other sides fixtures all were washed out.

Niall McHale scored a hundred but was unable to prevent the Friendly XI losing a close finish to Windsor Weslyans with Sean Kirk and Steven Mulholland making their adult debuts. The U13s won at Old Xavs and then Chris Spencer scored 134 in the midweek fixture on Monday

Alder Disability CC is the Centre of Excellence for Disabled cricket on Merseyside.
